When you are planning a group night out in Hamilton, the logistics can be the hardest part. Coordinating cars, finding parking, sorting designated drivers — it all gets complicated fast. Hiring a minibus solves all of that. Everyone travels together, no one has to stay sober to drive and you can focus on actually enjoying the night.
We get a lot of bookings for birthdays, hens nights, school balls and group events across Hamilton and the Waikato. Our 12 and 18 seater minibuses are well suited to this kind of hire.
What We Offer for Group Events in Hamilton
We have two vehicles available for party and event hire:
- Volkswagen Crafter — 12 seater: Great for smaller groups. Easy to park in central Hamilton, comfortable for a night out. $230 per day.
- Ford Transit — 18 seater: Ideal for larger groups. If your birthday or hens night has 13 or more people, this is the one. $290 per day.
Both vehicles have air conditioning, Bluetooth and USB charging. They are cleaned and presented well before each hire.

Birthday Party Transport
A milestone birthday is the most common event hire we get. Whether it is a 21st, 30th, 40th or 50th, having a minibus means the whole group arrives together and no one misses out because they could not get a ride. Hamilton CBD, Claudelands and local event venues are all easy runs in either vehicle.
Hens Night Hire
Hens nights in Hamilton usually involve bar hopping, dinner and sometimes a show or activity in the evening. A minibus is the practical choice — you move as a group, you are not waiting for taxis and the bride does not have to worry about how everyone is getting home. We do a lot of hens night bookings across central Hamilton.
School Ball Transport
School ball groups from Hamilton high schools hire the 12 seater to arrive together and leave together at the end of the night. Parents appreciate that it is a safe, organised way to manage group transport for a big night.
Stag Night Transport
Same idea as the hens night — keeping the group together, no one driving after a big night. The 12 seater works well for most stag groups.
Event and Function Transport
Corporate events, charity dinners, award nights and functions at Hamilton venues like Claudelands Event Centre, Novotel Tainui and local restaurants are all common bookings. Groups coming in from outside Hamilton for an event also use us regularly to get from their accommodation to the venue and back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we decorate the van for the event?
Light decorations are fine — just nothing that damages the upholstery or windows. Speak to us when you book and we will let you know what works.
Is there a minimum hire period?
We hire by the day. For evening event hire, the booking covers a full day so you have flexibility on timing without needing to rush.
Do you provide a driver?
Our hire is self-drive. You need a valid NZ licence (or an overseas licence valid for NZ use) and someone in your group who is comfortable driving a larger vehicle.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible for peak dates. Weekend nights in summer book out weeks ahead. Mid-week events are usually more available at short notice.
How to Book
